There are no known big casino winners yet this new year but Christmas came big time three days late for Anselma Ramirez in Jackpot, Nevada, of all places. Ramirez, a mother of four from Idaho Falls, Idaho, put $40 into a progressive Wheels of Fortune machine at Cactus Pete?s Resort Casino and was rewarded with $1.6 million, the largest payout in the casino's history, said General Manageer Dave Albrecht.

'I can't believe this has happened to me,' Ramirez said.

'It was an exciting experience for everyone in the casino that day, and we offer our congratulations to Ms. Ramirez and her entire family,' Albrecht said.
