Casino Reviewer at online-gambling.com BK8 is a crypto-only casino with 4,800+ games and more than 18 in-house originals. We browsed it from a Hong Kong connection, opened each category, read the help center and chatted with live support for this BK8 review.

Amounts in this review are in US dollars, at about HK$7.8 per US$1, because BK8 quotes its bonus and VIP terms that way. Keep that rate in mind when you compare a $100 cap with HKD offers elsewhere.
Is BK8 Licensed in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong has no license for online casinos, so BK8 cannot hold one here. The Gambling Ordinance leaves legal betting to the Hong Kong Jockey Club, which runs horse racing, football and the Mark Six lottery.
The same ordinance makes it an offense to bet with a bookmaker, whether the bookmaker is in Hong Kong or offshore. The maximum penalty is a HK$50,000 fine and nine months in prison. A site’s license does not alter that, and the risk stays with the player.
Licensing comes from the Government of Anjouan in the Union of the Comoros, number ALSI-202504032-FI2, issued on 29 April 2025. This is an offshore permit, so no regulator such as the MGA or UKGC stands behind you. Any complaint has to go to the operator alone.
Hong Kong does not tax gambling winnings, so no local tax reduces a payout. BK8 blocks 24 countries, and Hong Kong is not on that list for the casino. That settles access only, as local law is unaffected.
- Operated by Mettlemind Tech Ltd, registered in Anjouan under company number 15779.
- Connections use TLS 1.3 with SHA-256 certificates from Google Trust Services, logins support Google Authenticator or Authy codes, and the average payout ratio is 96.95%.
- Registration is 18+, with random age checks at the payment gateway and a seven-question self-assessment test.
The account has no deposit-limit tool, so set a spending ceiling before buying coins and stick to it. Self-exclusion works through live chat, and BK8 asks for a photo of your transaction history. Players in Hong Kong who need support can call the Ping Wo Fund hotline at 1834 633.
If an HKD wallet or account limits matter to you, weigh BK8 against the best online casinos in Hong Kong before you register. Crypto-only play suits some players, but it is not the easiest way in for everyone.
Game Selection – What Can You Play in Hong Kong?
The lobby is slots-first. More than 4,500 of its 4,800+ titles are slots. Table fans get a much smaller shelf, with 136+ live games, 239+ fast games and 41+ game shows. Every category runs in crypto, so there is no HKD balance anywhere.
The lobby draws on more than 25 studios, from Pragmatic Play and Yggdrasil to Red Tiger, Microgaming and Relax Gaming. That mix favors feature-rich slots, while Evolution alone supplies 69+ of the live titles.
- Slots
- Live Casino
- Game Shows
- Fast Games
- BK8.io Originals
- Live Roulette
- Live Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Sic Bo
- Video Poker
- Keno
- Crash and Instant Wins
Many tiles show an effective RTP, and the in-house originals (more than 18) range from 96.00% to 99.43%. The sportsbook displayed an IP restriction message from our Hong Kong connection, which is why this review covers the casino only.
Slots – Pragmatic Play and High-Volatility Titles
The shelf is led by 723+ Pragmatic Play titles, more than 200 ahead of Yggdrasil in second place. Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, PG Soft and Relax Gaming add high-volatility options, and these are the ten most popular slots in the lobby:
- Merge Up 2 – from BGaming
- Sweet Bonanza Dice – from Pragmatic Play
- Orca’s Wild Bonanza – from Yggdrasil
- Animals Racing – from Fa Chai
- Battleground Royale – from PG Soft
- 8 Dragons – from Pragmatic Play
- Ancient Paws – from Hacksaw Gaming
- Ugliest Catch – from Nolimit City
- Plunderland 5K – from Relax Gaming
- Gates of Olympus 1000 – from Pragmatic Play
The list mixes Pragmatic hits with Hacksaw, Nolimit City and PG Soft releases, and the crowd leans toward feature-heavy, high-volatility slots with big swings. Those swings can drain a small balance fast.
Online Roulette
The in-house RNG wheel, BK8.io Roulette, has a 97.30% return to player, and bets start at $5 and go up to $8,000. Spribe’s Mini edition and the Virtual wheel from Funky Games sit in the fast games tab for quicker rounds.
Online Blackjack
The main RNG table is BK8.io Blackjack, with a 99.43% return to player and bets between $5 and $8,500. That is the highest return among the originals, but bonus wagering ignores it, so play it with your own balance.
Live Casino Games in Hong Kong
Live play comes from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Dream Gaming and Sexy Baccarat, and the BK8 live casino totals 136+ games. The roulette menu holds 16+ tables and the blackjack menu 13+, while BK8-branded Pragmatic Play tables cover baccarat, roulette and blackjack.
- Live Baccarat
- Live Roulette
- Live Blackjack
- Game Shows
- Sic Bo
Wheels include Speed, Emperor, Fortune, Lucky 6 and Hindi Roulette, while card players can pick Infinite Blackjack, Lightning Blackjack or Bet Behind Pro. Table limits stretch from $1 to $100,000.
Game shows include Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher and Funky Time, while sic bo comes as Lightning, Mega and Emperor versions. Poker has no room of its own, but the video poker original from BK8.io returns 98.94% and Evolution runs Caribbean Stud live.
Sexy Baccarat has only about eight tables, and the rest of the live lobby leans on Evolution and Pragmatic Play. Players who want the widest Asian pit should compare table counts in our ranking of live casinos in Hong Kong first.
BK8 Bonus Overview – What Can New Players Get?
New players can claim the BK8 bonus across their first three deposits. The first earns a 100% match up to $100 from $10, plus free spins from a $100 deposit.
The 35x wagering covers the deposit and the credit within 30 days, so a full $100 credit means $7,000 in total bets.
| BK8 | 100% up to $100 + up to 100 Free Spins |

HK | Welcome Bonus Package | Play Now! | 18+. T&Cs apply. |
The second deposit earns 80% up to $100, and the third earns 50%. Minimums are $50 and $100, and wagering drops to 28x and 21x, which is easier to clear. Each match is capped at $100, so the package tops out at $300 in bonus money.
Free spins scale with the first deposit, from 10 at $100 up to 100 at $1,000, each worth $0.20. A $100 deposit therefore earns spins worth only $2 in total.
Slots and live tables count 100% toward wagering, while RNG table games such as BK8.io Blackjack, video poker and baccarat count 0%. The package cannot be combined with other offers and is limited to one per person, household, IP and payment account.
The table-game exclusion favors players who stick to slots and live dealers. Anyone who mainly plays RNG blackjack or baccarat gains nothing from the match. Our ranking of Hong Kong casino bonuses shows how it compares.
Other Bonuses and Promotions for 2026
This BK8 review also covers the reload, rebate and VIP offers. Rebates reach up to 14% by VIP rank, and a +10% rebate boost during the first 24 hours rewards new members who play early.
| BK8 Bonus | Hong Kong Offer | Bonus Terms | Secure Link |
|---|---|---|---|
| BK8 Free Spins | Up to 100 spins with the first deposit | Spins run on selected Pragmatic Play slots and need a Pragmatic Play player ID. They are credited the next business day. T&Cs apply. | Get Free Spins |
| BK8 Bonus Codes | Not Needed | No bonus code is required for the welcome package. T&Cs apply. | Check Promotions |
| BK8 Promotions | Bonus Bonanza and Weekly Reload 10% | Weekly Reload pays 10% up to $100 on a deposit of $50 or more, wagered 8x within 7 days, claimable Monday to Sunday (UTC). The 80% and 50% Bonanza deposits carry 28x and 21x wagering. T&Cs apply. | Claim Reload |
| BK8 Loyalty | VIP Club with 6 tiers and rebates up to 14% | Six tiers from Bronze to Diamond, earned by wagering. Every tier earns instant, daily, weekly and monthly rebates. VIP Tier Match applies above $2.5 million wagered elsewhere. T&Cs apply. | Become VIP |
Rebates suit regular players best, since every tier gets a share of its stakes back. The weekly reload is smaller than the welcome match but carries only 8x wagering, the lowest requirement of any offer here.
The VIP club rewards very high turnover. Gold needs $50,000 in bets and Diamond needs $10 million. Bronze and Silver already give rebates, free spins and a rank-up bonus, so you get real value long before the top tiers.
The smarter route is a VIP tier match from another casino. If you have wagered over $2.5 million at one of the crypto casinos on BK8’s qualifying list, BK8 can copy your rank. You apply by email with proof, and BK8 can still say no.
Do not chase a tier. A rebate is only a small share of what you bet, so extra play to unlock perks costs more than it returns.
BK8 Deposit and Withdrawal from Hong Kong
Crypto is the only way in and out at this BK8 online casino. The cashier takes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and USD Coin, with no cards, e-wallets or bank transfers. Open an exchange or wallet account first, since the conversion from HKD happens at the exchange or wallet.
Hong Kong’s SFC-licensed exchanges sell Bitcoin and Ethereum to retail buyers. Since the Stablecoins Ordinance took effect on 1 August 2025, SFC-licensed exchanges can only offer retail users stablecoins from Hong Kong-licensed issuers. Tether and USD Coin were not among them when we checked, which matters for every crypto casino in Hong Kong. Plan to fund BK8 with Bitcoin or Ethereum instead.
Tether runs on BSC, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Tron, and Solana is accepted for Tether deposits, while USD Coin runs on Arbitrum. A transfer on the wrong network can lose your funds, and the chain also changes the network fee, so compare before you send.
The casino charges no fees on deposits and sets no limits beyond your balance, so only the network fee applies. Credit takes 2 to 15 minutes, depending on the chain. Withdrawals carry the same network fee, but BK8 does not publish the amount, so check the cashier first.
Ordinary withdrawals are processed almost instantly, then wait for network confirmations, which vary by wallet (some need 1 for Bitcoin, others 3 or more). Large amounts are checked by hand. Two-factor authentication is required, and new members must turn over their deposit once before withdrawing.
The rate you get depends on your wallet and the fiat currency used to buy coins. Verification has three levels and ends with a selfie holding your ID, so finish it before your first withdrawal.
BK8 App Overview – Mobile Web in Hong Kong
There is no BK8 app for Android or iOS, because the casino is built for mobile browsers. Nothing needs downloading, and any file claiming to be an official app deserves caution.
We logged in from Hong Kong on the mobile web version. The functions mirror the desktop site, and the full lobby works in a mobile browser, so nothing is missing without an installed app.
- BK8 Android App – No Play Store app exists, so use Chrome on Android 8.1 or newer.
- BK8 on Android Tablet – The browser site runs the same way, and the larger screen suits live tables.
- BK8 iPhone App – No App Store listing exists, so open the site in Safari on iOS 13 or newer.
- BK8 on iPad – The browser version gives game shows and the lobby more room on screen.
BK8 Company Info & Support for Hong Kong Players
Help comes through live chat at any hour, and phone support is not offered. The chat opens with prefilled topics, and a bot points you to the help articles first. If those do not answer your question, ask to be transferred to a human agent.
The help center covers payments, bonuses and verification, and VIP members can write to vipcare@bk8.io. The site menu offers seven languages, and BK8 posts on X and Telegram.

| Sister Sites | BK8 (same brand, fiat site) |
BK8.io launched in August 2025 as the crypto arm of BK8, a brand that already ran fiat casino and sports betting sites for Asian players. This review covers BK8.io only, and terms at the other BK8 sites can differ.
Industry recognition stops at nominations. The EGR Operator Awards 2024 and an EGR Marketing & Innovation Award in 2025 both shortlisted BK8, but it has won neither. Sponsorships such as Aston Martin Aramco in Formula One and Gresini Racing in MotoGP show marketing reach but say nothing about player protection.
How to Play at BK8 Casino Online – Expert Tips
Before the full deposit at the BK8 online casino, send a small test transfer on the right network. A typing mistake then costs a few cents instead of your whole balance.
- Create a Casino Account – Register, confirm you are 18, the legal age requirement, and clear the ID checks early.
- Choose a Payment Method – Pick Bitcoin, Tether or another of the five supported coins and use the network the cashier names.
- Check the Bonus Deal – Only slots and live tables clear the wagering, so read the welcome terms before you claim.
- Browse the Games Selection – Start with the BK8.io originals and live tables in the game lobby, where the Effective RTP is shown.
- Play Responsibly – Ask live chat for self-exclusion whenever play stops being fun.
Frequently Asked Questions from Hong Kong Players
Quick answers to what Hong Kong players ask us most about BK8, each pointing to the fuller section above.
1. Is BK8 legal in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong issues no license to online casinos, and betting with a bookmaker is an offense under the Gambling Ordinance, whether the bookmaker is in Hong Kong or offshore. BK8 holds an Anjouan license, which does not change that, so the legal risk stays with the player.
2. What is the BK8 welcome bonus?
New players get 100% up to $100 plus up to 100 free spins with the BK8 bonus. The match needs a first deposit of $10 or more, the free spins start at a $100 deposit, and 35x wagering applies within 30 days. The second and third deposits add 80% and 50%, each up to $100, and no bonus code is needed.
3. How do I withdraw from BK8?
Withdrawals go out in crypto only, to a wallet address you control, and ordinary amounts are almost instant. New members must turn over their deposit once first, and two-factor authentication is required. A network fee applies, and the withdrawal options carry no limit beyond your balance.
4. Can I pay in Hong Kong dollars?
No, BK8 takes cryptocurrency only, so there is no HKD wallet, card or bank transfer. You buy coins at an exchange first. Of the crypto payments, the stablecoins Tether and USD Coin track the US dollar at about HK$7.8.
5. Does BK8 have baccarat and roulette?
Yes, live roulette and baccarat tables come from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Sexy Baccarat, and BK8.io Roulette is the in-house RNG wheel. The roulette menu lists 16+ tables, and the live casino games also cover sic bo and game shows.
Conclusion
We rate it 89% in this BK8 review, with in-house originals and live tables as the strongest points. The best return reaches 99.43%, there are 4,500+ slots, and the three-step welcome package excludes RNG table games.
The weak points are the crypto-only cashier, the restricted sportsbook and the offshore license. The biggest drawback is legal, since betting with a bookmaker is an offense in Hong Kong and no license changes that.
- BK8.io originals with returns up to 99.4%
- 4,500+ slots and 136+ live games
- Welcome package with 21x to 35x wagering
- Crypto only, no HKD, cards or bank transfer
- Offshore license and no sportsbook for Hong Kong
Play here if you already hold crypto and want in-house games with visible returns next to a large live lobby. It suits slot and live-table players, provided you are comfortable with crypto and identity checks.
Phone players can skip the BK8 app hunt, since the mobile site runs the whole lobby.
Look elsewhere if you want to deposit in HKD. The HKD wallet and card payments at 20Bet online casino make that possible. Whichever you pick, set your limits before you deposit.
